Copper, brass.
This two-finger ring features the hand engraved copper body of a decomposing rabbit with rivet-attached brass bones. The body curves inward, and the ring is meant to be worn on the bottom side of the hand so that the body of the rabbit rests on the palm of the wearer. The curves of the body implore the wearer to cup their palm around the rabbit, cradling and protecting its decomposing body in an act of care and reverence.

These pieces are inspired by my recurring nightmares in which my teeth rot, break, and fall out of my mouth over and over. This is a common motif in dreams and is said to symbolize anxiety and the desire to speak your mind.
Headgear and Rotten Tooth Talisman
Fine silver wire, sterling silver.
This piece loops around the ears and is worn as a headgear on the face. The handle on the side allows the wearer to raise and lower the dangling teeth mimicking the dreams in which my teeth fall out and regrow in a cycle. The rotten tooth talisman acts as protection against these nightmares.
