This book examines love as an action through the example of Bowerbirds. Bowerbirds, found in New Guinea and Australia, have unique courtship rituals in which the male builds a “bower” structure from sticks and grass and decorates it with colorful and shiny objects in order to attract a mate. Bowerbirds are known for being partial to blue objects. The book includes an attached pouch for collecting objects for the reader’s own bower.

This zine tells the story of my recurring nightmares in which my teeth break and fall out. It explores interpretations of these dreams and my personal encounters with breaking teeth. The back page forms a pocket which holds a small paper tooth (one of five tooth designs) as a talisman for warding off teeth-related nightmares.
